Provision of Fellowships by the World Maritime University (WMU) to Members of Administrations of the European Neighbourhood Policy Beneficiary Countries (Lot 1 for Safemed IV and Lot 2 for BCSEA)
The objective of the procedure is to enable staff members from the maritime administrations of beneficiary countries of Safemed IV project and the BCSEA project to enroll and attend the 14 months Standard Master Program in Maritime Affairs (Fellowship) offered by the WMU with the financial and managerial support by EMSA.

The overall aim of the contract is to award a number of 4 scholarships for the Safemed IV project. The standard master program begins with an initial module which covers the introductory knowledge that is fundamental to all activities in the maritime field. The module is called foundation studies, covers aspects of international law, the IMO System for maritime governance, management and organizational behaviours and is complemented by specialisation studies on maritime law and policy and maritime safety and environmental administration, among others.
